I am 5 foot 7, around 155 lbs and pear shaped. Based on reviews I bought the large white with black stripes and it is perfect! It hugs in all the right places but is loose (like I wanted). For a more fitted look the medium probably would have done just fine but I wanted comfort to wear with leggings without having to pull and adjust or suck in. Great purchase! Very happy :)2/9 update - I loved this shirt so much I purchased the red wine one. Sadly it is not the same thick material as the white with black stripes. It is the clingy type material. Still cute but wanted to update my review to reflect this2/24 update - down to 148 lbs now. l ordered this in the black (size large) received today and it is the same thin material as the red wine. Still love these shirts! Just wish they were all thicker like the white with black stripes
