So the cover and rotor were complete rubbish and the position sensor was rubbish. My TJ ran poorly due to rust on the inner half of the manifold. I decided to replace everything and that's it. Mine came with a faulty sensor, and the cover was missing the standard spring-loaded contact pin in the center that presses on the top of the rotor, causing energy loss when trying to make a transition from the coil to the connector wires. I used the bottom half and reused my old parts to make it work properly.
