This is a fantastic product

Decided to buy reusable containers. I like that they are silicone and can be used for sous vide, they are dishwasher safe, freezer safe and close tightly thanks to the sliding clip. The advantage is that they come with extra round lids to e.g. For example, you can store a half-cut onion or a half-cut melon in the fridge without using PLASTIC packaging. I'm always looking for ways to phase out single-use plastic and I think it's a cost-effective way. I also use painter's tape with a sharpie to mark bags with what's inside. I will recommend them to my friends. Dishwasher Tip: Slide the bag a few notches over the top basket to allow water to enter. I've stopped using the hot dryer in the dishwasher altogether. Then let them dry completely by opening them up and sticking them onto something (I use a mortar and pestle to put them on the pestle when opening the bag) to dry completely before putting them away. Pretty simple, although my description may seem complicated ๐Ÿคช. It's also easy to add something about the difficulty of closing the slide. I have arthritis in my thumb. So I use the other part of my hand to open it for the first time. After first opening and washing, they are easier to use. And the closure works well, that's the essence of these bags. My guess is that if you have really bad arthritis in your hands and don't have hand adjustments (check out the benefits of going to a chiropractor - a physical therapist) then this isn't for you.

Pros
  • Not just useful for it's intended purpose
Cons
  • To add something
