Air Oasis Purifier This is my third Air Oasis. I have chemical sensitivities and mold allergies. I also have a strong allergic reaction to outgassing plastics and fragrances. When I first saw this device many years ago I bought it immediately as it is made of polished aluminum with minimal plastic content. These units are a lifesaver for me. My house just smells like fresh air and I have very little dust, although I usually keep it low. After an hour all the smells were gone. Also ideal for removing cooking odors from fish. This new model is much more efficient than the original I bought many years ago. After all, please DO NOT use any of these in your living space once you have taken them out of the packaging. Plug the unit into a power outlet in a garage or other place where you don't live (laundry if you can close the door). Allow the Air Oasis to run at maximum power for at least a week before attempting to use it indoors. (The toxins it releases first are part of the new electric motor. My Metrovac vacuum smelled exactly like this until I let my neighbors use it for a while.)
