Review on ๐Ÿ”˜ Centric Premium Brake Rotor: Engineered for Superior Performance - 120.40026 by Joaquin Bennett

Strong brakes, clean optics.

Bought for my 2000 Honda Prelude. Arrived well packaged, no signs of rust (the metal is well finished). Braking performance is good (paired with Wagner Thermo Quiet pads). Gives a nice clean look to contrast with my painted rotors. The real reason I bought them was in hopes of extending the life of the rotors. I honestly don't expect miracles, but the KTL is durable, so there is hope. In any case, I am impressed by the austere appearance of the electronics cover. Was it worth the premium price I paid? The time will show. I have included an image with this review to show how to install them. We had rain recently and I haven't ridden it so there is some rust. I hope everything looks clean (but not flashy) after polishing the wheels. I plan to do the rear brake with it as well. Edited on 02/23/2017. I still have them in my car, and even after two New England winters, they hardly rust. No problems with "Warps". There is some light surface rust where the pads don't touch, but the edges, vents and hub are virtually spot free. If the car sits for a while, you get the usual rust film, which is hardly worth complaining about in everyday driving. I bought a "high carbon" version of these rotors for another car that sits idle, but haven't tried it yet. Therefore, I underpin my first assessment with a caveat. Use on a daily driver or car that is in an air conditioned atmosphere when not in use. Worth the money I paid.
