I have a few complaints about this mount. While it's durable and well made, I encountered a few issues during installation. First, the knobs used to tighten and release tension to tilt the screen up and down were not those shown in the instructions and lacked the required nuts. The nuts should have a square shoulder that matches the hole in the frame and will prevent the nuts from turning when the knobs are loosened or tightened. I did my own repair as square collar nuts are not available at your local hardware store. Secondly; The wall mount plate is approximately 20" wide, which limits the ability to center the mount on the wall using the 16" center studs. I was still able to center the TV on the wall by mounting it off-center on the brackets. But what annoyed me the most was that the brackets were misaligned. I put in a lot of effort and a 48" level to make sure my wall mount is level. However, when the TV was installed, it noticeably sagged to one side. My level indicated that the retractable brackets were to blame. You can adjust this by loosening the plate on the end brackets, but they're difficult to access with the TV installed. I'm sure the mount will work fine once installed, but installation should have been easier.
