Review on 🌬️ Tripp Lite Gen 2 SRCOOL12K Portable Air Conditioner - 12000 BTU (3.5kW), 120V, for Server Racks and Spot Cooling, Self-Contained AC Unit, in Black by Keize Barraza

Our third SRCOOL12K failed after 13 months of use. Only hot air blows. I submitted a support ticket in hopes that something can/will be done and will update this review with the results. I bought our first SRCOOL12K in August 2011 to cool a small (100 sq ft) cabinet housing two small servers. I bought it primarily because it doesn't require draining of water - it evaporates on its own. Great feature and it works great. This unit stopped cooling in September 2014. After 3 years (technically 37 months) of 24/7 use I wasn't too upset that the device finally decided to put an end to it. I mean that's over 1100 days of continuous work. I immediately bought another SRCOOL12K to replace it. This device (our second) only worked for 11 months before it died. It was disappointing but I was happy to see that it comes with a 1 year guarantee. So I called Tripp-Lite, an RMA was immediately created and they immediately sent me a new model. I thought it was a coincidence as the first block lasted over 3 years. I received the replacement device in August 2015 and it worked great. It's September 2016 and our third SRCOOL12K just gave up. 13 months later, but more importantly, 1 month after the end of the warranty period. I hope Tripp-Lite will take this into account, but I understand that they have every right not to. Will I buy a fourth SRCOOL12K? Am I going to switch to something else?
