Are you looking for a YouTube microphone extender like me? Well I thought I found a great solution. This is the correct number type, TRRS for my Diety mic and presumably HiFi plating and gold plated connectors. What you don't see is what caused this product to not be recommended for me. Out of the box it was better than what I replaced. With some OBS adjustments to reduce feedback (I thought it was being caused by my camera's USB power supply) I was able to record pretty decent audio. Less than 2 months later, it could not even be used. The humming feedback from the extension cord kept getting worse. Based on several tests I can say that it is the cable.1. Connected directly to the included yellow cable (no buzzing sound at all)2. As soon as the extension cord even touches the extension cord, a loud buzzing sound will be heard. (Nothing touches the cable) 3. Installation: Mac mini m1, Sony A7R3 camera, Calming 4k, Diety mic 3. The extension cable is what I need to connect the mic to the boom. But right now I'm forced to connect directly to the camera. As a result, this cable sounds perfect. I was looking for the highest quality cable I could find, but this isn't the right cable. Don't waste your $.
