Good product at a good price, I recommend to try it.

To begin with, I must say that, like many, I happened to purchase HyperX Cloud II with a clicky sound card. Support sent a replacement. The map from the new revision is indeed somewhat quieter, but here it must be taken into account that the previous version was extremely loud. It’s hard for me to imagine a person who would constantly use its volume at least 60%. Therefore, I personally cannot say that the cards of the new revision have problems with a lack of volume level.

About sound. HyperX Cloud II is clear, detailed sound and moderate bass. Every little thing is heard. For games, this is what you need. Music, accordingly, also sounds high quality, but with one caveat - this headset is not for those who like to listen to music tracks with strong, hammering basses - they are not in Cloud II.

In general, the impression is very positive, but at first it was seriously spoiled by a defective sound card.

Pros

- Design and high quality materials. Sturdy metal headband. - Clear sound, high detail. Excellent positioning in games. Good soundproofing. - Push-button volume control on the wire (it's also a sound card). There is also a microphone mute button and a virtual multi-channel sound mode. - Virtual 7.1 sound for surround sound games and movies. - Removable microphone with high-quality noise reduction.

Cons

- A big chance to run into a set with a defective USB sound card (the marriage is manifested by clicking sounds when playing low frequencies). - Lack of proprietary software for sound settings . - A wire comes out of the headset with only one 3.5 mm jack. If it is not connected to a native sound card, then the headset turns into ordinary headphones, since the microphone will not work in this case. For its performance on third-party cards, you will need to purchase a splitter.
