Review on Smartphone Google Pixel 6 Pro 12/256 GB USA, nano SIM+eSIM, stormy black by Wiktor Redziski ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Impressions from the purchase are good, buy.

Moved from Pixel 6 - mainly to see if I needed a telephoto. Observations may be useful for those choosing between pixel 6 and 6 pro: Autonomy: pixel 6 pro due to a slightly larger battery and despite the more voracious (in theory) screen works for an hour and a half longer (SOT = 5 and a half hours at high load, with work profile and video calls). Cameras: I won’t write odes to cameras for the second time, the main difference of 6 PRO is in the telephoto, and it’s really good - in addition to situations where you need zoom without quality loss, I’m slowly getting used to shooting at x2 by default - you get great pictures without digital zoom artifacts . Network: here pixel 6 stars were missing from the sky because of the Samsung modem, and pro somehow manifests itself worse in my case - at the exit from the elevators, the network can search one and a half times longer than six - sometimes it exceeds a minute. What to sin on - I don’t know, either on the antenna, or on the modem calibration. Performance: I did not notice any sharp jump in performance due to more memory, but it is worth considering the increased screen resolution. On 6 pro, which is surprising, I catch friezes when scrolling (browser, Android menu), which I have never seen on the six Screen: the main disadvantage is the waterfall, which can not be found glass. There are some options with UV glue, which tends to flood everything and everything - this does not suit me. As for color reproduction and refresh, there are no complaints here, but six was enough for me, in this regard. Of the other pleasant pluses - better vibro, speakers and microphones - the difference is noticeable well. 6 pro also has a dormant UWB interface, which is not used in any way yet (it was planned to release accessories with UWB, such as the Apple Air Tag, but somehow it didn’t work out + there are car key initiatives for the American market). In general, given the small difference in price between Pixel 6 and 6 Pro after the appearance of the seventh line - I can recommend PRO to those who shoot a lot on camera - sometimes the telephoto decides (all review photos were taken on x2 / x4)

Pros
  • A universal set of cameras (a telephoto should be highlighted separately); The battery is slightly more tenacious than in the Pixel 6; Good screen (resolution / color reproduction / refresh rate);
Cons
  • Finds a network slower than Pixel 6 under the same conditions (same operators, same modem, same OS version, same carrier services - remains antenna or calibrations); Display glass - waterfall (3D), which creates problems when choosing a protective glass (do not offer glass with UV glue); Far beyond the comfortable size for one-handed use;
