So glad they are finally available in the States. I've been using these washcloths in Europe and Asia for many years and have bought enough to take home. I don't use them to wash dishes. They are great for mopping up spills and wiping down countertops, stovetops and appliances, as well as wiping down drawers. The edges are great for getting into crevices in the bottom of the blender and other parts of the machine. They wring out like a sponge, but stay moist enough to pick up dirt, crumbs and fluff. They're great for cleaning around the house and wiping down shellac-covered woodwork (if you just need a cloth lightly dampened with water). I clean them by soaking them in a water/bleach solution for a little bit. When they start to deteriorate I leave them for the dirtier jobs and use them for the first few passes on the floor, racks, pipes.
