White Prepac Floating Wine Rack for 18 Standard 750ml Bottles of Spirits Review

When I ordered this, I was a bit concerned about the quality of construction and the veneer. Rest assured - both are top class. It was very easy to assemble. Looks fantastic. Though it's a slightly different finish than the existing bar we own (Catalina bar from BB&B), it matches very well. Rather than hanging it on the wall (we live in an earthquake zone), we set it on top of the bar and used it as a shelf to elevate some of the bottles. End result - we were able to close the leafs on the bar…

This is a really nice product. The quality was perfect. Although it's made with engineered wood, the quality of that wood was very good. This came from Canada and of course the Canadians have the best wood, eh? Assembly was easy and fast with instructions similar to Ikea. However, the most clever thing of all was the way the product mounts to the wall. Brilliant design, nothing I've ever seen before. It made positioning and securing the rack super easy and VERY strong. I cannot say enough about

So my husband put this up tonight and made sure it was in 2 studs like the instructions said. Not even up for 10 minutes with the wine and glasses, and it completely crashed and everything fell and broke! Destroyed our wall, wine, glasses! This product is junk and I should have realized when I saw the junk wood that is used. Please do not buy and ruin wine and your wall like we did!

Had it for less than 5 months and it came crashing down with no warning. Glad it didn’t knock someone out at the table, this rack is a liability. Followed all assembly directions, used wood glue in addition to all provided hardware and placed within wall studs. We had mostly empty bottles as decor-this thing is cheap and dangerous. PASS

I was going to make one from a pallet but this worked out a lot better and cheaper than some other ones I've seen. Holds more wine too. Love it and looks classy.

Ours is filled with liquor bottles and we get tons of compliments on it! Love having it mounted on the wall and out of the way!

I love this wine and wine glass rack. It was easy to assemble and hang and it looks great in my dinning room. The rack may not be suitable for those who prefer to store their wine at a specific angle!

Do not waste your time or money. The additional tools needed to get this to adequately and safely hold glasses and/or bottles is not worth it.

I really like this rack. It was easy to put together and up. It's sturdy. It holds 12 bottles, but could hold more if you staggered them front to back (zig zag).

This is the review you should listen to. I have had this for nearly 10 years. Always stuffed wit the max capacity number of bottles. It works good. Served me well. I just took it down. Never had an issue. Just know that over time, the piece that supports all the weight is only pressboard, so it bows and slightly hangs away from the wall. I took it down because I was in fear of the whole damn thing crashing down while I slept.

Bought two and they were just as expected. Hold quite a few bottles of all different sizes. Nice piece of functional furniture!

Not as dark as I expected, definitely follow the instructions when building or you will have to take it apart a couple times like I did. When it comes to mounting. I did use the mounting beam that came with it, but I also decided to secure the actual rack with screws to studs. The lip it’s supposed to sit on and be "secure” is one made of like partical board and not very deep.

WThe wood is a little cheap and we decided to mount the rack itself to the wall instead of just the board that it rests on after reading other reviews of it falling off the wall. It looks great so far and seems sturdy. We added some LED lights to it for a little something extra. Overall I think it's a good buy.

Very pleased with this product. The rack may not provide adequate support for heavier bottles! Looks great over my buffet. Holds larger wine bottles as well as standard.

This is the first item that I've bought from Walmart that was a complete disappointment! I've put together hundreds of pieces of furniture with no problem! The pressed "wood" starting breaking into pieces from the beginning! I wasn't even able to finish assembly let alone hang it! There's no way that this item would've been able to hold the weight of wine bottles & glasses! It's overpriced for its shotty craftsmanship!

This wine rack was easy to put together (about thirty minutes) and looks absolutely lovely on my wall, especially after I put my wine bottles in and glasses hanging from below. amazing. Five stars.

It came with one piece cracked, back piece so it really does show, but the shelf itself is very nice looking! The hold for the glasses is in the middle. so only thing I don't like is that there is a gap from the glasses on the left, and the right.

Gorgeous and very classy looking. I get a ton of compliments on my installation of this wine rack. It's deep enough for multiple bottles, and we use it for wine and spirits. The installation was easy, but I did ask for help. I wanted to make sure nothing broke. It seems to hold a lot very nicely. We have a small dining room so this turned out buffet into a cocktail bar and offered me free space in the kitchen to do the cooking while folks moved toward the booze in the dining room area :-)

Looks great hanging just because my husband replaced parts that didn't fit correctly. Had to add glue to seam in back since wouldn't attached.

Just got this thing on the wall and it looks great above our liquor cabinet/wine bar. We ended up using an impact driver and large bolts instead of the supplied ones (we might have lost them).
