Review on Camco Pro-Tec RV Rubber Roof Care System - Two 🏕️ Step Treatment for Cleaner, Longer-lasting Rubber Roofs - 2 Gallons (41453) by Robert Ryokan

Over the years I have used various other brands of roof cleaners and protectants. I tried this product because of the price and the notoriety. The cleaner works just as well as other brands and I am not to blame for that part of the product. On the other hand, the defender has a serious mistake. After cleaning with a cleaning agent according to the instructions, I applied a protective coating according to the instructions. It looked great and stayed pretty clean from the moment it was applied. Unfortunately, the finished product is so slippery that it's unsafe to walk on. I tried two different pairs of tennis shoes and a pair of deck shoes and the results were the same. The application was submitted about 90 days ago and is as raunchy now as it was the day after it was submitted. For this reason I have to subtract the cleaning properties in favor of the safety aspect and give this product 1 star.
