Weak Magnet Best for Camshaft Position

The magnet on this sensor is very weak, the sensor failed within 10,000 miles. I'm not sure if this is a real inter-motor sensor or fake. First my car would start once a week without starting and after waiting 10 minutes it would start. Then it started happening twice a week and became a daily occurrence. I ordered a Beck Arnley camshaft position sensor and the magnet was much stronger.
