Great for crushing apples

This worked very well for crushing apples in my SMALL cider project. This is not a commercial machine (for example the hopper is made of fairly thin sheet metal) but it works as it should and I expect it to last for many years. Small feet on the bottom fit comfortably on the rim of a 5 gallon bucket. The resulting apple pulp was made from pieces of apple, probably medium 1/4 inch, that were easily squeezed out of the juice without getting into the cider.
