I needed to put something on my desk that would fit my Audio-Technica AT2020 USB and it worked. It's long enough to be placed on the edge of my desk and easily swivels my mic closer or farther when I need it. The heavy base easily holds the weight of the microphone in an ideal position and stays in place for weeks. Love it and glad I didn't get those ugly barbell clamps.
