Review on πŸ’¨ Heatsink Cooler PCIE Cooling - Black Pieces for Enhanced Performance by Patrick Matin

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Will easily fit among your Gup fans.

Great little set. Included in delivery: a screwdriver, a cleaning and drying cloth (not needed if the m.2 is new and/or not dusty) and two dark blue (0.5 mm) for the underside (U-bracket) and two light blue ones (1 mm ) ) for the top (radiator) for discs 2 m.2. There is a protective film on BOTH sides of each piece of thermal tape. Remove BOTH pieces of foil from EACH piece of thermal tape and stick them on. Once the thermal tape is on both sides (1 blue bottom, 1 light blue heatsink), place the bottom of the m.2 drive into the U-bracket/bottom of the thermal block. Next, make sure the top (heatsink) has an open slot for the motherboard screw, facing backwards to allow room for mounting. Then line up the holes and carefully insert the top heatsink into the U-Bracket/Bottom. Sometimes the lower U-bracket can be slightly bent. Simply straighten the curved side(s) carefully and continue. Once the heatsink is installed and aligned, tighten all 4 screws. DO NOT TIGHTEN. When all the threads are tight, gently squeeze the heatsink (top) and U (bottom) together and use a hand twist (tighten firmly) to tighten in a zigzag pattern. Repeat one at the front and the other at the back. This is a great kit. Radiators for 2m2 drives cost less than $15 and don't require straps, which snap and break over time. Lowers the temp by 9C just for me, my SK Hynix P31 and it runs fine on launch :^) Looking forward to trying it out on GEN 4 m.2 to see how it handles those bad boys . Have fun cooling down!
