Bought for my daughter for her birthday. We tried them and one of them had problems. Contacted the seller immediately and he responded immediately. We used the batteries recommended by the seller, although we found the Toy's R Us brand to be perfect for walkie-talkies. Working with the seller was very easy and he was aware of our problem. Clarity is excellent, the flashlight is an added bonus at night. We've only used them within a mile radius and so far so good. The size is perfect for small hands. My daughter loves to take it to bed and talk to me while I'm downstairs. Fun for play, camping, farmers market, park etc. Definitely a great gadget.
