Works as intended and looks solid enough. However, for the price and the materials used, I would expect it to come pre-assembled and with mounting hardware included. While not difficult to assemble, it is time consuming and the hardware should be included in the $0.10 cost. Your apology for too many wall types is pretty shallow. A few cheap plastic drywall anchors and wood screws will cover over 95% of all installations. I'd recommend finding a bolt on at least one side, it's pretty strong, but heavy wet clothing can be heavy.
