Nice weight - really stable. It pours well from a small spout and the heavy base makes it easy to control the fill. Tested with oxo cocktail strainer for one hand pouring they were before). It's easy to use and works great. The Oxo cocktail strainer is perfect, so maybe there's a mixing glass standard? When I first looked for a mixing glass, I thought I might have preferred a smooth, uncut, undecorated outer surface, but I found that the pattern/texture provided a secure grip when my pouring hand was wet or had lotion applied to it became. So that the decoration has a purpose? I will enjoy using this.
