That's a terrible excuse for a shower radio. AM and FM reception is terrible whether you take it in the shower or not. When I tried to use the included antenna it still didn't work any better. The sound quality is worse than expected. I wasn't expecting much from such a small system, but it's worse than anything I've ever experienced. To make matters worse, this shower radio eats batteries like crazy. Initially we used regular alkaline batteries and the batteries died after about 2 days of use. We've probably used it once or twice. Then we bought rechargeable batteries and they drained faster than alkaline batteries. This product is waste of money. Before that we had Sony. I highly recommend it as it doesn't eat up batteries and the radio reception is much better. The only drawback is the lack of a CD player. However, you cannot use the CD player with Memorex because the battery will not last more than 3 tracks on a CD. The next project is to write a complaint to Memorex about this terrible product.
