The only thing I didn't know is that it kind of makes the pillow heavier. Or I think they aren't big enough so they squeeze into the pillow (my king and queen's pillows are snug on them) and the material just makes it a little firmer. What I do not like. My pillow was perfect, so a little extra firmness made me a little unhappy. The second problem is the smell. I rinsed them all (in cold water and as directed) several times to get that industrial smell out of them, then aired them out for another week to try. Nothing I did helped. The smell had subsided but was still strong. This made the task difficult and caused me asthma problems. After holding them for a while and airing some more, I got rid of most of the smell and was finally able to use them. Exactly what I think most should understand. Never before has this industrial smell lasted as long as it does now. The nice thing is that there is no rustling noise and for me as a severe/chronic asthmatic the lack of dust mites helps a lot. I can't live without a pillow! Hope they last a few years. I am not sure if I will buy it again or not.
