Very cool automatic feeder! The instructions were a little confusing, but I managed. I understand why there are a lot of negative reviews from the reviews. Thank you for sharing your rain and rain cover ideas. I also made one for my feeder. The materials were from Walmart and the total cost was about $12. Bucket $2.58. Cap $1.17. Plastic Faucet Elbow $4.79. Silicone $3.00. Place. A hole in the side of the bucket to allow the spout to protrude. You don't want wet/water vapor to build up, so that's the point of vents. Then I sealed the slit of the side hole with tape. Thanks again for sharing great ideas. Does it look like a ghetto? maybe, but I love DIY. So I totally agree with this cover idea
