I've read other complaints about this and thought that users just didn't fully insert the shank into the feed, but after testing it today with less than 7/8" and 1-1/4" drives had the same problem. After using it intermittently at sub-par speed for about 1/2 hour to cut some 1/8" thick styrenic plastic models, I noticed that the blade started to wobble, especially on a 1-1/4" blade. . pressed too hard or got stuck in the drill bit, so I can only assume the shank is too soft metal to support the washers. The Slices themselves seemed to cut well.
