VERY INSECURE! - Circular Saw Blades

I put the smallest blade and shaft in my rotary tool, turned it on and my rotary tool started vibrating and (singing) Then (SHAFT BENDING 45 DEGREES) it was supposed to be some sort of mild steel. I turned it off and straightened the shaft in a vise, tried again, and the same thing happened again. I'm lucky I didn't hurt myself or lose my finger!

Bends easily below 5,000 RPM

This is the second time for this product. The blades are excellent. Wave? Not as much. VERY carefully installed the blade. Rev up to about 2500. Excellent. Crash into some wood. NP. Aluminum is tougher but cuts. RPM increased to 4000, bad vibration then failure. Shaft bent by 90°. Tried again with the smallest blade. Same result. 20,000 rpm is fine for a blade, but the shaft is too weak.

Unbalanced - Power & Hand Tools

The main problem with this tool is that it is unbalanced which makes my Dremel vibrate a lot. I've never owned a Dremel compatible tool and am slowing down for safety. Also, why did the manufacturer use a slotted machine screw instead of a Phillips, Allen, or Torx screw? Finally, why aren't there flats on the shank in case the bit gets stuck? It looks like it was developed in the last century. Pretty unconvincing.

Stem screw cannot be removed

I gave this product a very high rating at first after using it. I tried not to put too much pressure on the blade to avoid bending the shank. However, when I tried to remove the shank from the blade, the screw would not come loose. I had no choice but to clamp the shank in a vise to attempt to remove the screw holding the blade to the shank. This deformed the shaft. Also, there was no way to contact the manufacturer. Even with careful use, the product was unusable after 1 project because the…

The shank is too soft and bends

I've read other complaints about this and thought that users just didn't fully insert the shank into the feed, but after testing it today with less than 7/8" and 1-1/4" drives had the same problem. After using it intermittently at sub-par speed for about 1/2 hour to cut some 1/8" thick styrenic plastic models, I noticed that the blade started to wobble, especially on a 1-1/4" blade. . pressed too hard or got stuck in the drill bit, so I can only assume the shank is too soft metal to support the
