Not 15 amps or 14 AWG, you're paying for features you don't really get.

The name of this item is "NOCO Black GCP1 15A 125V AC Port Plug with 16" Built-in Extension Cord" and it's actually only 13A, not 15A and 16AWG, not 14AWG. I have more Paid for this item than for a cheaper one which appeared to have a more secure and watertight method of attachment with more mounting screws due to the 15 amp 14 AWG advertised on this item, if I knew they were the same I would save some money and go with another. I find it IMPOSSIBLE to believe that this article does not mention this and no negative reviews reflect this problem. Save money and choose another option.
