Review on 5-Pack Chanzon 12V 2A 24W UL Listed AC DC Switching Power Supply Adapter For CCTV Camera LED Strip Lights by James Lapa

Hefty. UL listed. 6ft cord length.Bought a 5 pack of these and a 2 pack from the SmoTecQ store. Both are 12V 2amp. They were delivered the same day in the same package from Best Buy.After opening and comparing I noticed the weight difference between the 2 transformers themselves without the cords. The Chanzon is much heavier. The Chanzon cords are also twice the length.I have used a couple of Chanzon 12V 5amp power adapters to run some linear actuators for a bit over a year now and another for a few months and all have been working well with no hiccups or disasters.I think I will just use the cheaper ones to do some testing with and keep using the Chanzon for more permanent projects.The price difference between the 2 brands equates to about a dollar more per adapter for the Chanzon. I think the extra dollar is worth it for both safety and durability reasons as well as the fact you get twice the cord length.I also like that the Chanzon mounts sideways in the outlet rather than straight up and down which can potentially block the other outlet.Will keep buying Chanzon unless something bad happens.
