I bought this product to see what all the fuss is about. I have a few record cleaners, but as any vinyl collector will tell you, you can never have too many. I was surprised to see that the kit was very small for me. I don't know why it just looks elegant. The cleaning brush itself does not look ergonomic. The block of wood is too wide for the velvet brush, which in turn makes the velvet brush lean and not really good at cleaning the vinyl. Also, if the stylus is too close to the pad, it looks like it's scratching the record. Bad design. The cleaning liquid is in a spray bottle and when sprayed on the pad, the entire pad gets wet, preventing the trailing edge from being left dry to dry the record after cleaning. Another design flaw. This set is more for beginners with very modest gear than serious amateurs. However, the price was right and it can always be used as a backup. I would not buy this product again.
