I regularly consume Muscle Feast Grass-Fed Unflavored Whey Protein Isolate (WPI), which I like for its high protein content and almost no flavor. (I've never been a fan of the wet, sticky taste of whey concentrate.) Out of sheer boredom, I decided on a whim to try this one. Compared to WPI: - Slightly less protein, grams per gram (<10%) - Slightly more flavor but really good taste. Very creamy and may I say delicious? - Equal or better miscibility. Both mix easily and dissolve easily. This one seems a little less sticky. - More than 25% cheaper at the time of writing this article. So it all boils down to simple economics. WPI is, at least on paper, nearly 10% more powerful. (Does that even make sense with protein powder?) This mix, on the other hand, is 25% cheaper. So if I consume just a little bit more, I'm in the same field and I've saved money. Is that plus good taste? price for value. Both products are excellent and I would highly recommend them if you need some serum in your life. But I think going forward I'll favor these unless I figure out some magical advantage of the isolate over this mix. I'm very glad I got bored and decided to give it a try.
