Take an old iPod with a 40GB hard drive and set it up.
I took my trusty old 2004 iPod 4th gen 40GB monochrome screen and installed a new battery, replaced the spinning drive with this adapter and also the CF card adapter to get the SD card adapter for 128GB to install. MicroSD card. I now have a very light 128GB iPod (119GB formatted) with fantastic sound and my entire CD library in Apple Lossless format (much better than MP3 or AAC which peak at 320kbps). first with 256 GB SD cards, but they seem too big for this generation iPod, it refuses to recognize more than 8 GB.
