Review on Samsung B2230 22 Inch Widescreen Monitor with 1920X1080 Resolution and HD Display by David Bartholomew

I bought a Samsung 2343BWX two years ago and it is the best monitor I have ever had. It recently died, Samsung fixed it quickly under a 3 year warranty and I wanted a different monitor for a different computer. The B2230 seemed to have good reviews and the Samsung website listed a 3 year warranty. With the B2230 there are no "backlight" problems. It's so bright that I had to turn it down to "10" and change the contrast to darken the colors to get the video to look right. I have better color matching with the 2343BWX and the Sony. But now I am satisfied with this monitor. Now the bad news. Samsung does not provide a 3-year warranty. They claim that their website is updated and the warranty for this model is only 1 year. If this monitor dies within the 2nd year I will update this review and switch to another brand.
