I received this backpack as a personal travel item. I don't like paying for bags when I'm on shorter trips, so I decided to bring a bag small enough to pass as a 'personal' item. It's a larger bar (19" instead of 18"), but because it's not rigid, I can compress it to any airline size I want. It looks big, but like I said, if you pull out your tape measure, you can prove it's the right size. I took it as a personal item on a border flight and it fit perfectly under the seat (side). Best of all, I have this design because it's carried like a backpack but you pack it like a suitcase so everything is organized and arranged rather than being crammed into a bottomless abyss like traditional packaging. My personal bag dreams came true lol buy it you will love it!
