When I first bought these gloves I was looking for warm or "winter" gloves. When I received them, I inspected them and immediately noticed that the cotton material is very similar in feel, durability and dexterity to a pair I recently purchased from Dollar Tree. As I mentioned in my description, apart from the addition of small rubber triangles on the palm for grip, the gloves are almost identical to any standard pair of cheap cotton gloves available anywhere. Although the fabric is slightly thicker on the wrist, the hue of both gloves remains the same compared to each other. In general, I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM FOR LONG TERM USE IN WINTER WHEN WORKING OUTDOORS FOR LONG TIMES. I ride flags outdoors exposed to the elements 5 days a week. These gloves are neither windproof nor waterproof. As always, I give honest feedback on my opinions in light of the inspections/tests I have carried out in the environment where I work. I hope this helps everyone with future purchases when considering these gloves. At least now we can compare.
