Review on S.O.S 98014 Steel Wool Soap Pad (Pack of 10) by Sarah Greenwood

I ordered these to try and fix my parents Dutch Oven. Apparently I left my water in the Dutch Oven after cooking the corned beef and it sat there for a couple of weeks. It was pretty rusty when we found it. I've heard a lot of good things about them and I'm very happy to say I'm satisfied. I wish I could take some before and after photos because it works wonders. I had to use two of them for two periods simply because they required a lot of washing, but they worked very well. Since it was rusty I knew it would take a few cubits, but it was a lot better than having to replace my parents' Dutch oven. The SOS pad worked very well with the combination of steel and soap. I don't know what soap they used, but the steel wool definitely worked. After a long cleaning, the Dutch Oven was like new. It also worked very well on the cutlery that had suffered from rinsing the Dutch Oven in the sink and where the rust was now sticking to our cutlery again. Take this as a warning to rinse the outside, or make sure you wash all rust out of the sink and everything else, otherwise it might start rusting on other items as well. Pros: Did a very good job removing rust, easy to use. Cons: None. I was expecting a bit of work to clean it up, so that was to be expected.
