It's working great now. When I first used it, it was pretty obvious that it wasn't calibrated. Sent a message to Vixie and got a quick reply from Barry. This is an essential tool for any handyman. The internal level is factory calibrated and does not need to be reset, but if you need to calibrate it yourself, follow these 5 steps: 1) Press and hold the ON/ZERO button. when replacing the battery cover. 2) Place the sensor at an angle on a flat surface. The number "1" appears on the display. 3) Press the ON/ZERO button, being careful not to move the meter. The number "1" starts flashing. After a few seconds, the number "1" will change to number "2" 4) Turn the manometer exactly 180 degrees. 5) Press the ON/HOLD button, being careful not to move the meter. The number "2β will flash and when it stops flashing the display will return to normal and the sensor will be calibrated. better accuracy.
