Doesn't really cool the laptop.
I've been working on my work laptop for over a week now. I use the Intel Extreme Tuning Utility to monitor the internal temperature. There are no changes. Yes, the temperature changes on the fan itself, but it has minimal impact on the actual CPU/GPU. The PC is still getting hot. Doesn't help at all.
