The side table has an understated look and is easy to assemble. Okay, I've exhausted the list of good things about this design. While it's pretty clear in the picture, you can see that the hollow black aluminum legs that 'support' the table are mounted on the side. You attach the legs to the tabletop with hex head screws and cam nuts, and that *might* be enough to support the tabletop, which is made of heavy-duty material. However, whatever material they choose for the countertop (MDF?), it's extremely weak, and metal cam nuts won't work here - I'm not particularly stronger than the average person and I slightly overtightened the cam nut. countertop when I tightened. I stopped because of the creaking sound of chipboard breaking, not because of any resistance I felt turning the hex bolt. It is easy to assemble with the included picture instructions. I don't know what the table's weight limit is, but a slight push will sag inward. I originally bought this to hold a light turntable but I don't trust it to hold a turntable for any length of time and I'm honestly considering gifting the table or throwing it in the trash. It's too chunky in size to be a proper side table and too flimsy to hold anything substantial. The design can be fixed by attaching the tabletop to the *top* of the legs, but as it's bolted to the side it's very flimsy.
