Great case, terrible fit

This product seems great but it doesn't quite fit my iPad (A1980: this model is listed as compatible) and it prevents me from doing so with my side buttons and just a poor fit. It's a solid case overall and I'm sure it would be great if it fitted right, but I'll have to get another one and possibly return this one.
