These things fit strangely: I chose 38x32 because I find most motorcycle accessories run small (I usually wear 36x32). at the waist but oddly tight at the hips? The addition of Lycra/Spandex allows them to stretch well, but the waist is too big. They are in no way suited to cold weather, either shape or form. I wore them on a 50 degree day and these pants were too cold; I was warmer with a pair of underpants, but these are pants for late spring/summer/early fall when temperatures are above 60F. The padding was good and in the right places. I'm not sure how protective the "Armoride" will be in the buttocks. It looks like yellow cotton, not real armor fibers.
