A long road to finding protective gear

It's been a long road to finding motorcycle pants that, well, didn't scream they were motorcycle pants. They are comfortable and fit almost like jeans. I'm not sure why they call them Bike Motocross. The elastic at the waist is perfect. Light five stars, but look at the materials and upholstery. They are not all created equal.

Pros
  • A year-long attempt
Cons
  • Something different

The fit and comfort are great.

I was reluctant to buy pants online because of all the things I would have to go through if they didn't fit, sending them back etc. But I said what the hell did I buy; I did it. Am I happy I made this purchase? Yes. These are some of the best jeans I have ever bought. I liked them so much that I am going to buy a second pair. Good luck with your experience, I hope it's as good as mine.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • I'll write back later

Good deal, with some problems.

These MC jeans are all longer than normal jeans, which is essential when cycling. Knee pads are below the knee when standing or walking, but perfect for riding. They are easy. The hip pads aren't as noticeable as some jeans, which is a plus. The problems with them are as follows: very small belt loops, 1 inch max. The belt is difficult to put on. Also strange back pockets, loose and short. The wallet would fall out completely if you kept it there.

Pros
  • Sturdy finish
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

Great pants comfy and true to size

I usually wear a 32-33 waist and 30 length so I have a pair of 30/32. The waist is snug as expected. Very comfortable on and off the bike. The length is too long as expected, I adjusted it to my size. The only problem I have is that the knee pads are a bit below my knees when standing. When sitting on the bike, however, it lifts a bit, which is not a big deal. Too bad there is no 30 length. Otherwise they are perfect. Can't comment on the level of protection, but at least the pads offer moreโ€ฆ

Sizing issues: pants and chaps

These things fit strangely: I chose 38x32 because I find most motorcycle accessories run small (I usually wear 36x32). at the waist but oddly tight at the hips? The addition of Lycra/Spandex allows them to stretch well, but the waist is too big. They are in no way suited to cold weather, either shape or form. I wore them on a 50 degree day and these pants were too cold; I was warmer with a pair of underpants, but these are pants for late spring/summer/early fall when temperatures are above 60F.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

What size should I take?

FIT - These jeans are slightly roomy in the waist/belly. They are also very flexible. They are also HIGH waisted. They sit around the navel. To be exact. I wear a 34 inch waist in skinny or regular jeans. These include Old Navy, Arizona, Levi, Target, etc. My waist measures 34 inches, which gives you the lowest reading - right where the low-rise jeans sit below. your gut. These jeans are NOT low cut. They sit right around my navel and lift my love handles. At the belly button/handle position, I

Nearly excellent on motorcycles and weightlifting

First motorcycle jeans. I really like the elastic bands that seem to take the pressure off the knee pads. I usually wear 36x32/34 jeans (I'm 6ft and have a medium beer belly) so I went with 38-40/32. They didn't stock a size 36-38/32 which I think would be perfect. But with a belt and a few washes I think they will fit nicely. A small note: when I sit down, the back of the pants seem to slide down. Again, the problem is solved with a belt. The problem is that when standing, the knee pads slideโ€ฆ
