I usually wear a 32-33 waist and 30 length so I have a pair of 30/32. The waist is snug as expected. Very comfortable on and off the bike. The length is too long as expected, I adjusted it to my size. The only problem I have is that the knee pads are a bit below my knees when standing. When sitting on the bike, however, it lifts a bit, which is not a big deal. Too bad there is no 30 length. Otherwise they are perfect. Can't comment on the level of protection, but at least the pads offer more protection than the regular jeans I've worn.
