FIT - These jeans are slightly roomy in the waist/belly. They are also very flexible. They are also HIGH waisted. They sit around the navel. To be exact. I wear a 34 inch waist in skinny or regular jeans. These include Old Navy, Arizona, Levi, Target, etc. My waist measures 34 inches, which gives you the lowest reading - right where the low-rise jeans sit below. your gut. These jeans are NOT low cut. They sit right around my navel and lift my love handles. At the belly button/handle position, I measure 36 inches. I bought size 32-34 and they fit perfectly. I had to send back size 34-36 as they were too big for my stomach/waist. In fact there is something about these jeans that size 32-34 doesn't feel secure without a belt PROTECTION - Mid weight jeans not heavy The armor position for the hips is perfect for me they will be in the right position if I fall and need them . I remove the built in knee pads and put Laett knee pads on my knees. The legs of the jeans have a lot of flexibility, allowing you to comfortably wear knee pads and wear jeans over armor. On the bike, the bend around the knee allows you to wear armor comfortably on your knees without being tied down. My only other comment: The Pockets are very small, off the bike I wouldn't carry keys in these pockets for fear they won't be there when I get back.
