I like that these cups have both cups and ounces marked on them but I don't generally need the cups measurement. I primarily use there for resin mixing and poured pant projects. They are clear which is really nice for mixing resin colors since you can see through to tell how well you've mixed or how much more of an element you might want to add. Since you can't really clean resin out of a container you pretty much have to throw your containers away and these are disposable so that's great for things you need a 1 time use for. However they are sturdy enough that for other things like paint or baking you could reuse the cup several times before having to toss it. These come in at about $0.35 a cup which won't break the bank but isn't the cheapest option either.
