This is really a great idea but it doesn't keep my sleep-apnea suffering husband completely on his side. He has to work at it in his sleep- determined man that he is- but if he starts out completely on his side, shortly after he goes to sleep he is more propped on his side kind of half and half back/side. He has shoulders that hurt if he is completely on his side for too long so I am sure that factors in. He gave up on cPap so we are trying everything to help with the issue and being not flat on his back has helped. His apnea episodes are fewer- I'll take that- and for anyone else who is looking for answers to sleep apnea- the book Breath has some great info and things to do. Next step for him- taping his mouth closed (really) and after that the form fitted mouth piece.
