I've only had it for a few days but it sounds very good. The device comes well packaged with the main cable in the box but I find this limits my needs. I added a separate power supply to power, isolate and reclock the signal, giving it a stage called Recovery from Wyred 4 Sound. Power adapter and another for USB, like other SMSL models. Where SMSL differs in the highs and lows, there is a lack of clarity/openness in the highs and the low end is not as tight. It appears to be well built, but it's a very small device so it can be difficult to press the buttons when needed. Can't confirm long term reliability yet, time will tell. For your health!
