I had a grass bath mat that I really liked, so I thought I would like this little massage mat too. Unfortunately, it's not of the best quality and rather inefficient, mainly due to its thin and flimsy bristles. They vary in length and I thought the larger ones would massage the legs better, but they are too flimsy. The carpet had shorter but stronger bristles and was much nicer to the touch. They are so thin that most of them were crooked and bent in different directions right out of the box! They just fold up when you stand on them so they don't really massage. The small size doesn't help either. I only wear 7 in women's shoes but my legs are longer than this rug. I thought it was at least big enough that I could stand on it completely. I would say the suction power is pretty good. It has lots of suction cups on the back and stays in place well. I use this on a smooth surface but I think it would be fine on tile too. However, this is not enough to redeem it in my book. Overall it seems pretty cheap and definitely looked a lot better in the photos. The color is also a lot darker in person, but that worries me less than the fact that it doesn't perform well enough to justify the price. Instead, I'll probably just buy another grass mat.
