The standard hood mounting kit does not come with a lock, so this is a great way to prevent your hood mounted jack from being easily stolen. The operation is simple, you turn it on and insert the key (while holding the handle one more time) and turn the key to lock the lock, then you can pull the key out and the handle turns freely, but don't go somewhere.
