So, I am writing a review about the temperature sensor. I installed it on my boat. The installation is quite easy. Except that the instructions require you to place the transfer assembly in the splitter assembly on the radiator return hose. If you want to install according to the instructions, you need to buy. I installed a supply unit in the intake manifold next to the existing unit on the thermostat. Green wire to device, black to ground, and red to power supply (the power supply is powered when the key is on). There is no doubt that the pressure gauge readings are high. I have a 160 degree thermostat and my existing temp gauge reads 120 when the temp rises to 160, the thermostat opens when the temp drops to 140. That digital readout goes up to 180 and then down to 160. For the price, it's ok.
