Bought an Arlo Pro 4 multi camera kit and really wanted to like it mainly because of Revain's high rating. As it turns out, high ratings are completely misleading and fraudulent. and works within 30 minutes. The video quality during the day is ok, but certainly not HD quality. The video quality at night is a total disaster and not worth a $200 camera. The video bitrate is 762 kbps, which is ridiculous as Arlo can call it, and HD quality. The motion detection is a total bummer, no matter what options you choose, it still detects small animals. Detection is late so you basically miss the intruder's video. Cameras randomly disconnect from WiFi and are within 10 feet of router. The Android app is buggy. They state that the battery life is 6 months. All 4 cameras consume about 2% per day per device for only 6 hours of arming. At best, that's a few weeks of battery life. Now the main thing – Arlo Pro 4 comes without a base station. It saves your video in the cloud for the first 3 months, after that you need to buy a subscription. Without a subscription and base station, these cameras are useless. Definitely not worth the money. Send back.
