So you pull your face up and down all day to protect yourself from the weather, but when the humidity builds up,

I live in Chicago and work cell towers from Minnesota to Missouri. . This is a testimonial from someone who works outdoors every day in FROST frost at an altitude where the cold wind is at least 10 degrees colder than on the ground. The biggest problem with all other balaclavas is that you can't cover your mouth and nose for long because the moisture from your breath makes the material damp. So you puff your face up and down all day to protect yourself from the weather, but when moisture builds up it only makes things worse. I've been looking for this balaclava for 15 years and now I can finally keep my face warm all day in winter. Now a few things to pay attention to to make everything work perfectly. If you work physically like me, the mouthpiece interferes with your breathing. So if you plan on using this while running or climbing, like I did, you'll need to make adjustments. You just can't get enough air when you're panting so I removed the foam insert (which prevents you from breathing in cold air very well) and cut a coin sized hole in the center and the problem was solved. Second, the hood that the mask attaches to doesn't protect against the wind, so I still wear my old balaclava over it.
